Who is Evan Leybourn?
Evan is an experienced leader, coach and (soon to be published) author in the developing fields of Agile Corporate Governance and Lean Business Management; applying the successful concepts and practices from the Lean and Agile movements to corporate management. Evan has a passion for building effective and productive organisations, filled with actively engaged and committed staff while ensuring high-levels of customer satisfaction.
Evan's experiences when holding executive and board positions in both private industry and government has driven his passion for lean business management. His background in Agile Project Management and Business Intelligence informed his understanding of the need for evidence-based decision making and quantitative analysis, to measure corporate success.
As well as writing Agile Corporate Governance, Evan currently consults to the Australian Government in Canberra on Agile project management and governance.
Evan runs regular professional development courses for management and speaks at a variety of international conferences. Evan's courses draw on his project management and business governance experience and aim to develop institutional capability within the student organisations. Evan has developed and presented courses on a variety of topics in Australia, Singapore, the Philippines and Malaysia, including:
